These weekends happen periodically, every two and a half months. They are the foundation of the preparation, linking all its components in one Shabbat.
Firstly, it's an opportunity to meet up, to be together, at table, between sessions. It is during these Shabbats that the group comes together and shares its fears and hopes.
We also learn together: our origins, the history of the Jewish people and its land, why not in Uganda after all, living in Israel- is it our duty?
Finally, the preparatory sessions - 2 sessions each weekend: details of the integration program, budgeting expenses and income the first months in Israel, professional files, banking system, etc.
The Magshimim Israel team which follows the group throughout this whole process is of course present at these Shabbats.
